Program: Of Blades and Fire!

Join Park Rangers at Battle of Rivers Bridge State Historic Site for a special educational program.

So much fun it requires a liability waiver. Join a Battle of Rivers Bridge Park Ranger and learn basic bushcraft knife skills (and knife safety) used by soldiers during the civil war and discuss myths about certain blades during and after the war. Then you will use those skills to build a fire – Civil War style.

Ages 14 and up. Knives will be provided.

Cost: $5 per participant

What to Bring: Water, fully enclosed footwear, weather appropriate clothing
