Program: Before Selfies-19th Century Photography

Join Park Rangers at Battle of Rivers Bridge State Historic Site for a special educational program.

Join us as we discuss the emerging art of photography during the American Civil War and its impact on how the war was perceived and recorded. Then we will make and use a camera obscura as we learn about the nature of light and how the camera obscura was the predecessor of all future cameras.
