Memorial Illumination

Weather permitting. Join us for a commemorative luminary display in the Memorial Grounds to commemorate both the anniversary of the Battle of Rivers Bridge and the sacrifice and loss suffered by the soldiers on both sides who fought in the battle. A luminary will be lit for each casualty of the battle. The Illumination event and park admission are FREE for all ages, is self-guided, and runs from the onset of darkness until the gate closes at 10PM. The Casualties Exhibit in the Memorial Grounds will also remain open for you to visit. The event will be canceled if it rains, however the Casualties Exhibit will remain open until 10pm regardless of weather during the event.
