Groovin’ Through the Years

The City of Aiken is pleased to announce a celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center and cordially invites the community to join in a family-friendly event themed, “Groovin’ Through the Years,” on Saturday, July 26, 2025. The event will be free and family-friendly, fostering community engagement and celebration.

Guests will experience a full day of fun entertainment, featuring food, craft activities, inflatable attractions, a tie-dye station, 1970s-themed trivia, music, and a classic fire truck spray-down to provide a refreshing break on a summer afternoon. The event will be held at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, a site that has served the community five decades through programs focused on fitness, recreation, and community engagement.

Come dressed in your best ’70s gear and help us celebrate 50 years of community groovin’ at one of Aiken’s most cherished landmarks!
