Aiken County Museum Spooky Tours
October 9 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
With every old house, there’s at least one ghost story. The older the house the more those stories grow and when it comes to Banksia, an 1862 home modernized in 1931 into a 17,500 sqft Winter Colony mansion, the stories turn into tales that are dying to be told. Visit the Aiken County Historical Museum, October 9th, for their annual Spooky Tour. Hear tales of grandeur, eerie events and murder from five specters that haunt the museum.
Like all great ghost stories, these tales are told at night in small groups, so tickets will be limited. Tour times are 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm and 9pm and will last 45 minutes. Please be aware that some of the spectral scenes will address adult topics, so it is suggested that guests be 10 years of age and up. Guests will also need to be able to climb up and down staircases as part of the tour throughout the museum building.
