4th of July at Barnwell State Park
July 4 @ 10:00 am – 9:30 pm
Join Barnwell State Park for a day of fun in honor of the 4th of July featuring kid-friendly Sponge Dodge, Tie-Dye with a Ranger and a Night Hike.
All activities meet at the Park Office.
10 AM: Ranger Guided Hike – Explore the Fern Hill Nature Trail with Ranger Aaron.
2 PM: Casting Hour – Bring your fishing gear and join us at the lake.
3:30 PM: Sponge Dodge – Dodgeball with a twist. A high-energy water game where you’ll dodge, duck and get soaked in sponge-filled fun.
5 PM: Tie-Dye with a Ranger – Make a fun tie-dye T-shirt with Ranger Aaron. *$10 per shirt, $5 if you bring your own. While supplies last.
8:30 PM: Night Hike – Explore the Dogwood Trail after dark with Ranger Russ. Listen for nocturnal wildlife along the trail. Bring a flashlight and closed-toed shoes. *$5 per person.
