Sheila's Baking Co.

At Sheila’s, baking is an artform that is treasured, where pastries are crafted from-scratch using timeless methods, real ingredients and seasonal flavors. Choose from any of their handcrafted doughnuts, decadent pastries or signature brown butter cream cheese cinnamon rolls. Sheila’s also sells coffee locally roasted coffee. Open morning to noon.

Their Story

Owner Sheila Martin has been in the business of baking since she was a teenager. It’s a craft that allows her to connect with others and share a little bit of happiness with them. She loves creating new industries for herself, which is what prompted her to quit her bakery job to start her own food truck business.

“For years I’ve always wanted to do some kind of bakery of my own,” Martin said. “I moved down here to Georgia from Pennsylvania to work at a local bakery to gain some experience.” – Sheila Martin

Martin did almost everything else herself, from the design and paint job to building out the equipment setup and counters. After around nine months of work, Martin opened Sheila’s Baking Co. Food Truck in 2018. After two immensely successful years and with support from the community and her family, Sheila opened a storefront in North Augusta, South Carolina in June of 2020.
