Meeting on Main

Specializing in Southern cooking, Meeting on Main offers a full lunch buffet and a variety of entrée options throughout the day. The buffet offers a choice of several meats including fried chicken, pot roast, bar-b-que and more along with an array of vegetables, fruits and salad bar. Don’t forget dessert to complete your meal! The daily menu includes hot and cold sandwiches, chicken wings, hamburgers, soup and Momma’s fried chicken.

Their Story

Meeting on Main opened in 2006 by Bob Cothran and Mark Creech. It quickly became a gathering place for locals and travelers alike. Bob and Mark wanted to have a place where the locals of Williston and surrounding communities could enjoy good food and company. Since Mark was looking to relocate his other venture, the Floral Mark-It, the two decided to buy what was known as “the old car place” (as it was previously an auto dealership) which had room for both businesses. Meeting on Main and Floral Mark-It have both become thriving businesses in downtown Williston and an important part of the community.

The restaurant is located in the heart of historic Williston across the street from the original Charleston to Hamburg rail bed. The tracks have been removed and now serves as a pedestrian walking trail.
