Disc Golf

Aiken County’s only championship level disc golf course can be found at Langley Pond Park. Spectacular water holes, varying terrain, challenging pin locations and towering hardwoods are on this unique course. The 18-hole course challenges the best disc golfers in the world. Each hole has an amateur short tee box and professional long distance tee box, which allows the course to be played completely different from each tee box. Various elevations, mature hardwood trees and tricky water holes stretch across the property. A 2 basket putting area and 4 tee pad driving range with distance markers separates Langley Pond Disc Golf Park from most courses across the United States.

Trails

This trail was developed in partnership with the GAIT Foundation (Greater Aiken Integrated Trails). Accessible by foot or horseback, the wooded trail is 2.8 miles winding through a cool canopy of lush woods accessible only at Langley Pond Park. The trail is perfect for all levels of walkers/runners and equestrian riders.

Rowing

Langley Pond Park quickly became a prominent rowing location before the 1996 Olympics. Langley Pond features a 2,000-meter rowing course with eight fully buoyed lanes. Facilities include a finish line tower and boat ramp with boat dock. Regattas at Langley Pond include the Augusta Invitational, which takes place annually in March.

#FunFact: Just short of being a lake, Langley Pond is known as the world’s largest pond.
