Colonial Times: A Day to Remember - The Living History Parks largest and oldest event is Colonial Times: A Day to Remember. Held the third weekend in October, this event offers an opportunity to understand what daily life was like for the people who settled our area. In addition to several featured guests, the event features demonstrations in pottery, weaving and spinning, frontier trading, quilting, blacksmithing, meat curing, gold and silversmithing, candle making and much more. It is a wonderful and informative event for the entire family. Free admission for all. Concessions are available, cash only.
