Barnwell Historic District

Barnwell Historic District is within easy walking distance from Barnwell's town circle, view the Church of the Holy Apostles where Union soldiers stabled their horses, and the churchyard where many famous South Carolinians are buried. Other historic buildings include St. Andrew's Catholic Church, the oldest Catholic Church in SC, and the former Presbyterian Church, now home to the Circle Theatre.
