Aiken Charity Horse Show

Held annually in May, the Aiken Charity Horse Show is a traditional horse show with hospitality for all with two weeks full of equestrian competition. These Hunter/Jumper shows attract competitors from across the country and feature everything from thrilling Grand Prixes to adorable Pony Derbies. Come enjoy our famous southern hospitality, eat, shop and watch these spectacular horses and riders, admission is free.

The ACHS is truly a labor of love dedicated to the memory of Bruce Duchossois, Aiken Horse Park founder. This show distributes donations to a variety of local and national charities to  represent Bruce’s pledge to increase public awareness of and support for the prevention and elimination of the abuse of children, elderly and abused persons and for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

It has become an ACHS tradition to host a Kentucky Derby Watch Party immediately following the Saturday Grand Prix. Limited tickets available. Another ACHS tradition is the recognition of our unsung heroes of the equestrian world, the grooms. Each Saturday, Aiken Horse Park holds a drawing to identify a lucky groom who will receive a cash prize and gift.

As Aiken Horse Park is an outdoor venue, comfortable, weather-appropriate attire is recommended. ADA accommodations are available. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times.
