|Event Name:||Wings and Things at Aiken State Park|
|Event Description:||Meet at the park at 9am to look for birds, butterflies and dragonflies around the area. We will drive and walk checking the ponds for dragonflies. This is one of the best places in the area to see dragonflies, especially the spring sandhills specials. We expect to see Clearlake and Diminutive Clubtails and hope for Elfin Skimmer. Bring a lunch, we may go into the early afternoon.
Augusta-Aiken Audubon's field trips are open at no charge to all chapter members and the public. We encourage everyone to come out and join us. Some tips to make the trips more comfortable: bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and drinking water. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended as is having raingear nearby.
